You hear so much about setting goals and how important they are to your success. Goals can be very confusing. If you have ever sat down and written out your goals and nothing happens then you know what I mean.
You hear so much about setting goals and how important they are to your success. Goals can be very confusing. If you have ever sat down and written out your goals and nothing happens then you know what I mean.
When you start in Network Marketing assuming your not in a program already, all you will be constantly reminded of goal setting. You can set all the goals you want, but you have to have a plan of action or you will sit and ponder "why is this not working?"
Now here comes the slider. Are goals really necessary for us all? My thinking is if you are doing and enjoying the work you are doing goals are not really necessary. Goals will be achieved as a natural cause of doing what pleases you. You do not have to agree with me. Judge for yourself.
I have spent the last nineteen years in Network Marketing and have written down many, many goals. Some I achieved. Most them I did not. You have to have a laser beam of desire to achieve your goals. Napoleon Hill wrote in "Think And Grow Rich"-"if you can conceive it you can achieve it."It is not a part time job by any means. In the beginning some people believe writing them down is enough, but they soon find out that does not work.
Setting goals and trying to achieve them is very stressful and for me not worth effecting my health. Stress is the biggest cause of "dis-ease" in our bodies. It literally is a killer. We know there is enough stress associated with any job or business and in that regard Network Marketing is no different.
The alternative is if you are doing something you love or makes you happy and helps other people to be become successful and healthy You will achieve your goals automatically in Network Marketing. You see the more you give the more comes back to you. Your not a taker you are a giver. You can't get any heat from a stove unless you put wood in it. Do you want friendship then become a friend, do you want love then give love, do you want money then give money. This is simple and no stress is involved. So I decided goal setting is not for me. Now you can make up your own mind.
